Bunny Cummings

Bunny was my midwife for both my pregnancies.  I wouldn’t have had it any other way. She is basically a force of nature and an amazing practitioner.  My pregnancies were quite different from each other- the first I developed pre eclampsia and had to be induced 3 weeks early. The second stayed put 2 days past his due date. What was totally the same though was the compassion, humour and experience that Bunny was able to gift to us. I felt at all times that I was in good hands and that my babies were safe because of her. Even when things were getting a bit hectic with pregnancy number 1, Bunny was calm – but also proactive in ensuring I received the right care and support.  She’s well respected in the profession and not backward about telling people what is needed for her ladies. Like right now thanks.  Bunny helped me to do things I didn’t know I was capable of- after my first labour and delivery that needed nearly All The Interventions (except c sec), I was able to deliver my second boy naturally and drug free. She has a way of empowering you to know what you need to and can do.  The support and care we received after labour was also amazing. Bunny is straight up and real and just normalizes everything that happens before during and after labour.

I would 100% recommend Bunny as a midwife. In fact whenever I find out a friend, colleague or random stranger is pregnant I basically take their phone off them and enter her details. Bunny will always have a special place in my heart. She has given me the two best days of my life and I am eternally grateful.

This lady is an absolute angel! Bunny delivered my first son via the most amazing water birth everything went just like on the movies. She made me feel like superwoman. Then I called her 3.5years later.. Bunny I’m pregnant.. Cut a long story short it was with 2!! Twins she said.. Awesome! I was petrified.. What the heck will I do with twins.. How can I do this.. All that was running through my head but from the very first visit with bunny all the doubt was turned into excitement. She was only ever a text away she was my rock through the pregnancy and then wow.. She was absolutely incredible when it came to birthing my one head down and one breech babies. She gave me strength and power, she was right by my side the whole time she stood up for what was right for me and the babies the whole way through. She knew me, she knew what I wanted and she made it happen. I was told by lots of people I would need a c-section my response would always be it’s ok I have bunny it will be fine. She is the most dedicated hard working strong passionate midwife EVER! She gave us laughs, love and loyalty. Bunny went to great lengths for me and I’m so grateful I got the chance to have her by my side. No matter what your situation is bunny has it under control. Thanks again your super woman xx

As an older mum to be, starting over again after an 18 year gap, between my then youngest, I found Bunny and her team of midwives to be amazing. Positively forthright, reassuring and thorough with all the information . Bunny provides a comfortable and trusting environment with a lot of laughs throw in. I was happy knowing that my baby and I were receiving the best care possible. Thank you for removing the worry, making this experience such a happy positive one and for all the fantastic support both before, during and after the birth of our beautiful son.
